We read romance titles, for the majority of our reads, whether it be Contemporary, New Adult, Erotic, Literary Fiction, Young Adult..and so on, and so forth...usually always the same theme...we love a little romance! Okay, a lot of romance!
We love romance because we love the idea of love and all that it represents...the new love--the butterflies, the flirty-ness, the passion, the heartbreak--all of it because when you take a chance to trust someone with all of your heart it can be one of the most exhilarating and yet most frightening experience ever. That for many it takes bravery to love and succeed or fail and try again--and we love the journey that love takes in each of our novels.
Some of our favorite authors write such poignant and emotional stories, about real, raw traumatic experiences and how the characters find their way back to being to "normal" whether it be in a relationship or just life in general. The adage love conquers all applies...and while sometimes we laugh, we cry, we rage...and just generally get wrapped up in each story so tight we never want to leave...we all hope for a HEA at the end, even if it isn't sometimes possible.

I love to just get lost in the story of the characters. I enjoy reading how they sometimes try to deny the attraction and the battles they fight along the way until at last they are together. It is much like the battle I fought in my own love story.
