Where to find How He Really Feels:
Our Review:
I always find it fun to read stories about people who are looking for their special someone and the antics that some of these ladies get up to to get their guy. Since it's something I have absolutely no experience with it whatsoever I find it hilarious, but I'm sure it is not quite so funny when you're in those shoes! Nick starts out as quite the swoon worthy guy, but of course reality sets in and some weird behaviors starts!
One fortunate New Year's night midnight ritual and they are quickly submersed in a very secret relationship. If you are anything like me, you are probably very suspicious of a secret relationship. What's he hiding from her? Is there another woman? Is this really about a work contractual issue--or something else? See--I'm so NOT trusting and I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. Well...the other shoe did drop, just not the shoe I expected...and definitely not the way I expected. Their whirlwind romance was sweet and perfect (outside of the secrecy, of course,) and just when I was flying to the happily ever after ending, the rollercoaster ride began and there were several times I thought I was going to have to fling myself off of it because GAH! the ride got quite bumpy for a while. Between Nick's work contract, Travis, and even Julianne my emotions ran the gamut of anger, sadness, anxious, and happy...and then hit repeat several times before you get to the end and you have an accurate depiction my emotional state.
Between the two of us I am actually shocked, between the texts that were flying and the feelings that I was experiencing, that we didn't actually fling a device of some sort across the room. O.M.G. Bad choice after bad choice, on both of their parts, though mostly Julianne-- and I was ready to strangle someone! Okay, mostly Julianne! I really enjoyed a lot of them getting to know each other, but it took a lot for me to feel any sort of redeeming qualities in Julianne after the things she does to Travis, but after everything that goes down I suppose she suffered a great deal too...still gave me palpitations..gah.
Despite the bumps along the way, I truly enjoyed the ride and would definitely recommend you hop on it too! It's a super quick read and there is absolutely no cliffhanger. Yes! It was very enjoyable, but I definitely cannot wait to read the next book What He Really Feels to see where her friends go from here!
