~Our Review~
The first book in this series introduced us to Travis as Jules's best friend and past lover. What He Really Feels kicks off right around the time that his heart was stomped on and he decides to move in with a friend in San Diego to get a fresh start and hopefully get over Jules once and for all.
Yes, Jules did a number on him and even though I didn't think they belonged together, I still hated the way she behaved. What she did was awful ...and while he should've known better, she was not blameless.

So Trav...I hate to say it, but that boy seriously needs to get his balls out of the jar that he put them in to give to Jules and man up. If he's not being a total player and hooking up with random women, he is whining and not really dealing with anything...for anybody that he currently has the feels for. I really had a hard time liking him as a person, after I initially really felt bad for him because he continually lets Jules and her long time hold on him dictate his actions and life.
I wanted to like Travis so much more than I did. He was so mopey and could not seem to quit dwelling on Jules and what happened. Don't get me wrong, he earned the pity party...to an extent but at some point I wanted to slap him out of it.

When the Gorgeous girl walks into his life he starts to be sort of better. He is moving on, sort of fast, but okay...I can believe it. He is a grand gesture kind of guy so I loved the romance and how far he will go to prove he is deserving of a second, or fifth chance with his girl!
Yes, Gorgeous turned his head and his heart in a hot second and then he could not let the idea of her go. He's hopeless when he thinks he'll never see her again and then he's euphoric when he does..and then he continues to muck it up..again and again. I facepalmed several times during this read.
What I am not thrilled with is the end....okay..the last sentence. Shee-it. Not even in the least little bit. It will definitely take a lot of coaxing to get me to delve back into the train wreck that are these people for the third time so I personally, and not to be a hater, will have to read a few reviews after it comes out before I will give it a go. :( But for this story, the writing was solid, and I enjoyed it, but unfortunately not quite as much as the first book! Agreed, Courtney. The ending of book 2 was a surprise and I just don't know how much story these characters have...will be interesting to see.
