I'm from Atlanta, Georgia where I live with my husband, son and twin daughters. I'm writing contemporary stories with faraway destinations, such as Paris, and exploring life in this global world right along with my characters. A nurse and outdoor enthusiast for many years, I am now in love with music, movies and the written word. More detailed bio here~ http://carolineclemens.com/about/

1). What inspired me to write the book?
I always wanted to write a book,
always. Maybe, I'm a secretly a story teller in need of a venue or someone
looking to capture an audience with a great story and have them wondering where
I'll go with it. Possibly, I want someone to walk the path with me and surprise
me now and then, not quite sure. In any case, I want someone to believe that
anything is possible and the journey will be colorful and in our favor. I love
heroes ... to the max!
So as they say timing is everything and
the time was right, so here I am. There is nothing like an illness to set your
path moving forward a lot faster than you were going. Someday we'll talk about
that as I'm not quite ready. There is too much living in me to think about what
ifs. As a nurse I have pretty much seen it all and I'm not sure if that numbs
you or makes you even more compassionate. One thing is for certain it opens up
your mind and viewpoints on life in every aspect of humanness.
What inspires me every day is my
children! I am blessed to have three children, all teenagers from age 14 to 15.
When they tell me something so profound or wise, I know they were either born
that way or it is just divine. Adults complicate everything, we must listen to
our children much more in life. I write for them.
