I’ve cut Matt Connover out of my life… well, at least out of my bedroom… but I still have to deal with him at work. I have Lorraine intent on raining hell and destruction down upon me, which at least provides a nice diversion from my miserable feelings over Matt.
About the only good thing that has happened to me lately?
Cal Carson asked me out… and I accepted.
Matt’s not going to like that. Not one little bit.But that’s not my problem now, is it?

Our Review---
Sawyer Bennett!!! I don't know whether to hug you or strangle you. The waiting for each new release in this series is a KILLER. YES! Every single time I think I have it figured out she completely twists things into a new, even more awesome direction. Though a common theme is me wanting to strangle Matt. Then kiss him. I feel very manic about my feelings for him! This particular release moved the story along quite nicely. We see more of the Matt/Mac/Cal thing (for lack of a better word) and there is a tiny bomb that gets dropped in the midst of that. All I'll say about that is that steamy sexiness is coming your way! Uhmmhmmm. Against the wall, y'all.
We also see more of that hag Lorraine --she's just wrong on so many levels. Macy gets some more time here, too, and I really like her and her awesomeness. Macy is a great friend and I love her 'advice' to Mac. I really dislike Lorraine...and have a feeling that whole sitch is going to bite a big one later in the series...but for now I'm celebrating!
At the end of Violation we are once again hanging by the edges of our fingernails...hoping that the next installment comes as quickly as possible. This is mostly the part that I was thinking "What just happened!" This series is very good. And while each installment is very small, I really like it. Bravo.

About the Author---
USA Today Best-Selling author, Sawyer Bennett, is a snarky southern woman and reformed trial lawyer who decided to finally start putting on paper all of the stories that were floating in her head. She is married to a mobster (well, a market researcher) and they have two big, furry dogs who hog the bed. Sawyer would like to report she doesn’t have many weaknesses but can be bribed with a nominal amount of milk chocolate.
