The man she can never have . . .
Kerris Moreton should be the happiest woman in the world: She has a successful business and is about to start the family she's always wanted. But the man of her dreams-the one whose green eyes see straight into her soul and whose gentle hands make her body hum with pleasure-is not hers.
Each secret moment with Walsh Bennett serves to remind Kerris of what she's missing. And every stolen hour makes it harder to see her future without him. But being with Walsh would betray a sacred promise and upend her perfect life. When tragedy strikes, the razor's edge between love and loyalty grows sharper than ever. And Kerris must decide where her heart will fall

OUR REVIEWS re-mixed! Oh, just kidding, re-posted!
I was nervous/excited about starting this book. Kennedy completely got me all twisty in book one. For that first book there were LOTS OF F-bombs and shameless tweets and I had no idea what to think going in to this book. So I started it and...
I LOVED IT, y'all.
Yes, the first part was tough. Cam and Kerris and the hot mess of a relationship they had going on was enough to make me want to tear my hair out. I mean..I know it had to be done but I wasn't thrilled with them being together (because you know what? I'm UNREALISTIC. There, I admit it.). The tension between Cam and Kerris was un-fucking-comfortable. I felt for them both--I was mad at them both and sympathetic to them both, all at the same time.
...then things happen.
Then Walsh re-enters the picture and other things happen.
Hi, vague much? Yes. Yes I am. Because you need to READ IT YOURSELF. TRUST ME. You won't regret it.
Here are a few parting thoughts:
It's a super fast read. If I didn't have to work, I would've finished it in one night.
It leaves you feeling satisfied with the Cam+ Kerris+ Walsh thing.
The drama/angst is low and the pacing is fast (there are some gaps in time but, as I told Kennedy, I'm very appreciative that she didn't create angst or filler just for the sake of pages..it didn't need it. Would I have liked some of the holes filled in with how the growing pains of all of this played out? Sure..but it was a fleeting thought. I felt happy with the finished product).
I'm super proud of all three of the characters, even though they had a few less than stellar moments; they handled their shit.
This will give you a ginormous desire for book 3 but just cool your jets because you have some months to wait. In the meantime, we'll beg Kennedy for some teasers to keep you satisfied.
Great read.

And here's what Courtney thought....
You've probably seen us gush a time or two, or a hundred about Kennedy Ryan and her debut novel When You Are Mine. I think it induced a lot of palpitations across the country, and maybe world, and definitely induced some in me... Whew. So...when we receivedLoving You Always ... the palpitations started again at a fervered pace. Why? Well, besides that I am a drama queen...but mostly, because perfect love triangles make me insane for a good reason. Because, who is there to blame or hate? Truly? And here...Kennedy created one of those triangles that is hard to read, hard to like, but really hard to hate.

I think Shel and I both devoured this book, as well as the first one this summer, and book two picks right up with the angst and heartache that we remember. I thought Kerris had it hard before, but she definitely had her work cut out for her in this installment as well. Walsh and Cam are still both the light and dark sides of the moon, and their friendship is in tatters. Just thinking about their plight makes my heart hurt, and I can't tell you how in love I am with this book.
So, without being too spoilery, I hope...I found love, loss, friendship, space, beautiful words, and broken hearts in this novel. I think we also found light and darkness, and hope. Give this series a shot. Add it to your TBR list, give Kennedy a follow, and find a beautiful human being who knows how to tug at your heartstrings in the best way possible. I am now soooooo excited to see what the next book brings us.
