Release Date: May 5, 2015
Yield is the final book the Legal Affairs trilogy of Cal and Macy’s story. Clash and Grind, Books #1 and #2, are now available for purchase.
Yield Synopsis:
**Due to sexual content and heavy subject matter of an abusive nature, this book may not be suitable for all audiences. Yield (verb): to surrender or submit (oneself) to another Macy Carrington is broken. The strong, beautiful woman that I’ve unwittingly fallen in love with is all kinds of broken from a secret that she has carried for far too long. A secret so dark, she has gone to great lengths to protect it. A secret that I’m terrified will one day rip her away from me. The only time Macy frees herself from the darkness is when she is naked and in my arms. When I am deep inside her body, there is nothing she fears. When she wraps herself around me, she is at peace. If she would only yield to me completely, I know I can set her free.Goodreads Link: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25184992-yield

Shel: In this third installment we pick up right where the previous book left off--in the midst of federal agents trying to get information from Macy and Cal trying to figure out what the eff is going on. He wastes no time protecting her and trying to figure out what the heck is going on. This book was the one that sealed the deal on Cal--if I didn't really like him before, I erased all of those feelings by the beginning of this installment. He was protective and loving and willing to do whatever it took to make Macy feel safe and loved--even when she didn't feel like she deserved it. He stuck with her and I loved him for it. Court: RIGHT! He slowly has became a guy that I liked reading about. Having his point of view has helped tremendously on this journey, but losing his judgmental-ness definitely sealed the deal. He tried hard to be the 'Knight in Shining Armor' that he thought that Macy needed, but morphed it into their own version of also being what she wanted. Macy is such a hard nut to crack, but I think this story is better for this last part for sure. And...we had some boundary pushing role reversal, so that was fun!
Shel: In this last book of the series (of Cal + Macy) we get all of our questions answered and a chance to see a little bit into the future. With just a little angst and a lot of love and patience, Macy and Cal get the HEA that we all wanted for them. What a fun and sexy series; can't wait to see what Sawyer has in store for us next. Court: The story is fun. And sexy. And we get a little bit of Matt and Mac, so you know we enjoyed that...and some movement on that side of the friendship circle. I was unsure of my liking of Cal's point of view, because at first I felt like he was fairly one dimensional, but like I said before...it helped by the time we got to the end to understand him better. And the lawyer-y goodness we see was also fun.
