2016 Favorites

As we've settled into our blog life, things around here have changed. We've become a little more discerning with what we feature and a lot more discerning with the things we review. We're taking more time between reads to live our lives and we seem to be less in that head space we were in previously: the reading whiplash mode--that frenetic pace of inhaling book after book after book, barely hanging onto our sanity..and sometimes barely able to remember what we read. We're constantly searching for THE BOOK..you know, THE BOOK that makes you laugh, shriek, cry, think, feel challenged, or inspired and we found some that did that this year; we're looking forward to finding more in 2017. We are also more than happy to take a break from our crazy lives to just jump right into fantasyland with some of our favorite romance writers. So in other words, as much things around here change, they stay the same. I'd love to say that we'll be adding some things or changing things around here to pull in more readers and blah blah blah, but the truth of the matter is, I have no idea what 2017 will bring to this blog, other than reviews.
