REVIEW: Richer Than Sin by Meghan March

 

OUR REVIEW:

Richer Than Sin is book one of a new trilogy by Meghan March and I read it like my grandma used to watch Falcon Crest and Dallas: I was not moving until I got to the end. And just like my grandma's shows, it ended in a cliff-hanger that has me making the "gimme hands" so I can see WTH is going on.

This new trilogy has us in a whole new March world. We have the Riscoff's and the Gables (think Hatfields and McCoys). These two families have been feuding for generations and therefore a romance between Lincoln Riscoff and Whitney Gable is absolutely not supposed to happen...which is exactly what happens and it's as fun to read as you might expect. There are lots of secret meetings, nasty run ins, steamy moments (because those forbidden romances amp everything up a notch, don't they), and a marriage that evidently went terribly, terribly wrong.

Meghan March weaves the past in with the present to not only progress the plot to book to, but to also help give us the context for some of the bad blood, hurt feelings, and how we ended up where we are now. It's all very interesting and fun and a really good first novel of a trilogy because it sets us up for lots of drama and fun in the next two books. Can't wait to see what she does next.
