Shel: If you've read anything by Laurelin Paige you know that nine times out of ten, you're in for a sexy good time. The Open Door is in keeping with all of the Laurelin Paige I've read--it's super sexy and I think all you readers and lovers of things sexy will appreciate what's going on here. That being said, I actually love this novella for the truth bombs she's exploding all over the place. Laurelin Paige does an excellent job of tapping into what marriage, especially after babies and a full time career, can feel like--mundane. It's not that you want that, it's just that one day slides to the next and you wake up wondering how did we get here? Paige offers a solution to this couple that may not be available to all of us but serves as an easy reminder of how any of us in a similar place in our relationships can try. Court: This was definitely a snap shot that I would not have minded to have been a lot longer, am I right? She definitely hit the nail on the head of marriage and real life after the fairy tale ending (HEA...epilogue is over...then what!) and I for one am here for it. Laurelin as you said, does what she does best, especially with how sexy this novella was, and I have a lot of curiosity about the characters we found and cannot wait to go dive into their story to get the whole scoop!
Shel: So yes, this novella feels like a sexy fantasy but it also feels like something many readers will identify with and appreciate. Grab this short sexy read and enjoy, y'all. Court: Yes. Get it, it may just blow your mind, in the best way possible.
