REVIEW: Kiss Me Tonight by Maria Luis

OUR REVIEW:

Kiss Me Tonight is the perfect example of why you should open author newsletters and grab those freebies when they offer them! To be honest, I didn't know anything about this novel or the writer, but another author linked it as a freebie and I thought, what the heck, let me try this. It sounded exactly like something I'd like. Single mom + small town + football? Yes, yes, yesssssss.

This novel was so entertaining. There was humorous banter with Apsen and Dominic, steamy romance, a heartwarming story of a small town football team at the center of it all. The combination really worked. I laughed a lot and felt my heart melt with all the sweet gooey stuff that Luis snuck in there with Dom and Asp. I also really loved the parts with Topher--that kid is ...gahhhh...I'd love a novel about him. He was the sweetest and just so dang loveable and fun.

Another plus? Well, I'm always intrigued when I come across a really good romance writer who is local to me. Turns out Maria Luis is writing and working just 25 minutes south of where I live--which means she'll get all the local references right. SCORE!

Do yourself a favor: grab this novel and read it. (And don't ignore those freebies!). I look forward to checking out all the things Maria Luis has published and what she's writing next.

SYNOPSIS:

I had it all.
The Super Bowl rings.
The hot shot TV gig.

Then I got fired.

Now I’m living in middle-of-nowhere Maine, playing assistant coach to the woman of my nightmares.

Did I mention that she and her son are my new neighbors?

If you talk to the locals, they’ll tell you Aspen Levi is the queen of high school football.
But if you ask me, my new head coach is a pain in my left nut sac.

She’s too blonde.
Too peppy.
And way too sexy for my peace of mind.

Only, one minute we’re fighting, and the next I can’t keep my hands off her. One hot kiss. One forbidden touch. I don’t do love but . . .

What I want, I take, and what I want is Aspen Levi.

KISS ME TONIGHT is a steamy slow burn romance. It's the second book in the highly anticipated series, Put A Ring On It, and can be read as a standalone.
